Adopt-A-Highway
On Sunday 23 October, 2011, participants in this project went out on a Sunday afternoon for some official-looking cleaning action along Highway 30. Many years ago, Tau Beta Pi adopted a two-mile stretch of highway just west of Ames, which it continues to maintain every semester. In the past, this has always been a popular project option for initiates. The event will take place again in the spring semester.
