Participants in this project get to slip into bright orange vests and head out during the early weekend hours for some official-looking cleaning action along Highway 30. Many years ago, Tau Beta Pi adopted a two-mile stretch of highway just south of Ames, which it continues to maintain every semester. In the past, this has always been a popular project option for initiates.
