Elings HallElings Hall together with the Sukup Hall and Atrium houses the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. Virgil Elings was a 1961 ISU alumnus in mechanical engineering who co-founded Digital Instruments, the first company to make atomic scanning probe microscopy readily available to scientists and engineers. (Virgil Elings was initiated into Tau Beta Pi as a student by Iowa Alpha on November 7, 1960)
