Town Engineering Building

The building, completed in 1971, houses the Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering Department. It was named in honor of George R. Town, professor and dean of the College of Engineering from 1959 to 1970. George R. Town was a 1926 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York. (George R. Town was initiated into Tau Beta Pi by the New York Gamma Chapter of Tau Beta Pi on October 7, 1936)
